FAQs

What is the Auden One?

The Auden One is a completely-in-canal (CIC) rechargeable hearing aid designed for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss. It sits discreetly inside the ear canal and amplifies sound across the 300Hz–4,000Hz range — the frequency band most critical for understanding speech. No prescription is required.

Do I need a prescription?

No. The Auden One is an over-the-counter (OTC) hearing device. You can purchase it directly without visiting an audiologist or obtaining a prescription. If you suspect significant or severe hearing loss, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional.

How does charging work?

The charging case is powered via USB-C (cable and plug included in the box). Once the case is fully charged, it stores enough energy to provide up to 3 complete charging cycles for the hearing aids — similar to a phone powerbank. To charge the aids, simply place them in the case, make sure they're seated correctly in the charging docks, and close the lid. The indicator lights on the case show status: blue = charging, green = fully charged.

How do I adjust the volume?

Volume is adjusted manually using the small screwdriver included in the box. Turn the volume dial clockwise to increase volume, and anti-clockwise to decrease it. We recommend starting at the lowest volume setting when you first use the device, then gradually increasing until you find your ideal level.

What sizes does it come in?

Each pair comes with three earplug sizes — S (small), M (medium), and L (large) — so you can find the most comfortable and secure fit for your ear canal. The right-sized earplug also reduces feedback (howling sound). Earplugs are attached by pressing firmly until you feel or hear a click. Make sure the earplug isn't pressed flat against the device, as this can block the sound receiver.

Is it waterproof?

No. The Auden One is not waterproof or water resistant. Please remove the devices before showering, swimming, or going out in heavy rain. Also avoid exposing them to direct sunlight or heat sources such as radiators or car dashboards. Clean the charging port once a week with a dry, soft cloth to prevent moisture build-up.

What's included in the box?

Each order includes: hearing devices (pair), USB-C charging case, earplugs in S/M/L sizes, wax guard stick, cleaning brush, volume-adjustment screwdriver, USB-C charging cable, and wall charger plug.

How do I insert and remove the device?

Inserting: Hold the device between your thumb and forefinger, place it at the opening of your ear canal, and gently push it in. Pull your ear back (auricle) to make insertion easier. Gently open and close your mouth a few times to help settle the device in place.

Removing: Hold the pull wire gently between your thumb and forefinger and pull it out of the ear canal. Opening your mouth slightly while pulling makes removal easier. We recommend inserting and removing the device over a soft surface (such as a bed or sofa) as the devices are delicate and could be damaged by dropping.

How do I clean the device?

Use the cleaning brush (included) to gently remove any wax, dirt, or debris from both the earplug and the device body. Always use the brush side — using the other end of the tool may damage the device. Clean the charging port on the device once a week with a dry, soft cloth to keep the charging connection reliable.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason, email us at audenhearing@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery typically takes 5–10 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Who should not use this product?

The Auden One is designed for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss. It is not suitable for children. If you have severe or profound hearing loss, a perforated eardrum, ear infections, or other ear-related medical conditions, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before use. Do not use at high volumes for extended periods as this may damage your hearing over time.
